We require a Rx prior to casting the patient for new orthotics
These prescriptions can be faxed or emailed to our front office prior to the patient’s appointment, or a hard copy can be given to the patient to provide when they arrive for their casting.

We are happy to provide a specific design or collaborate on what may work best for the patient
Please specify the exact design you have in mind for a patient on the Rx or simply state the AFOs need to be replaced due to growth or other concerns if you are unsure which design will best suit the child. Because our services thrive on input from the physicians, therapists and supporting team members we work with in caring for our patients, we are happy to collaborate and discuss what orthotic features will best benefit the child’s needs at that time.
We can provide rush fabrication in certain circumstances
Patients who are pre/post surgical intervention, receiving serial casting under the guidance of their physician or therapist, or may be experiencing changes to the families health coverage are candidates for rush fabrication. We will always do our best to accommodate these circumstances and turn around the orthoses as quickly as possible while also meeting our high quality standards.
We have design equivalents to all other orthotic providers and can provide variations on most any design requested
We are a fully custom facility and can provide design equivalents to any central fabrication facility. If you are only familiar with the orthoses and designs from major central fabrication facilities, we are happy to provide a design that is functionally equivalent while also adding our own custom touches that have been developed over many years of pediatric specific orthoitic care.
We accept all major insurances with the exception of Molena who is contracted with another provider in the state of MI
Our front office staff is highly trained and experienced in creating the most streamlined process for our patients when it comes to insurance coverage and paperwork. Please contact our front office for questions regarding specific coverage criteria or challenging cases that have been denied coverage in the past.
